Mama bear measures approximately 6.5 inches wide x 3.5 inches tall x 0.5 inches thick

Our salvage cut lumber is from downed or dead trees- sawn right here on our farm in East Tennessee. We strive to manage our wooded acres with sustainable, low waste practices. To that end, we hire a portable sawmill every few years to turn any salvageable trees into lumber. That lumber is then used for barn repairs, projects, and soap dishes. 

We use a food safe blend of mineral oil, coconut oil, and beeswax to help protect these soap dishes from moisture- so you can feel safe using them in the kitchen or bath. To keep your mama bear looking her best for years to come, we recommend periodically allowing her to fully dry and then applying an oil and wax blend for wood cutting boards.
